SpongeBob SquarePants is a cute little sea sponge who lives with his pet snail, Gary, in a fully furnished, two bedroom pineapple, and has an unusual love for his job as a fry cook at the Krusty Krab.
SpongeBob is as optimistic, earnest, and well-meaning as a sea-dwelling sponge gets, but despite his best intentions, he can't seem to avoid creating problems for himself! While trying too hard, he tends to do things wrong, which often spells disaster. But SpongeBob can't help looking on the bright side of life, and his bright outlook and enthusiasm about just about everything make him downright irresistible.
